PURPOSE: To
establish a standardized process for processing grievances/complaints
in a timely and efficient manner.
POLICY: It is the policy of Jeffrey F.
Klein, M.D., Inc. to provide a mechanism for handling patient complaints.
PROCEDURE:
NOTICE TO Jeffrey F. Klein, M.D., Inc.s
PATIENTS:
We strive to give caring and appropriate medical care to all of our
patients. Dr. Klein and his staff welcome open discussion regarding
any problems or concerns you may have. Any unresolved grievance or
complaint that you may have should be communicated immediately to
Dr. Klein.
If the problem was not handled to your satisfaction,
or if the problem was with Dr. Klein and you do not wish to discuss
it with him, or if you simply prefer, you may ask the office staff
for the telephone number of the IPA or Health Plan. You may call
the IPA or Health plan Quality Assurance Committee and/or Medical
Director (of IPA or Health plan) who will review your complaint,
and take corrective measures.
